As a growing San Diego company, Laura and I wanted to make a difference in people's lives. It's not just about making money anymore; it's about finding a balance between what is right for our business and our responsibility to help our community.
We came together as friends to bring a dream to life, to make the art of gift giving go beyond the boundaries of the giver and the receiver. We wanted others to be affected by peoples' generosity and pass on these wonderful gestures to those in our local community who are in need of a helping hand.
Not only do we want to help people, but also the environment in which we live and thrive. With this in mind, we decided to develop a plan to periodically choose a local cause and donate 5% of our profits to that individual or group who are doing so much.
